www.cbsnews.com/news/2016-presidential-election-absentee-ballots-americans-overseas-vote-influence/In this article, it brings up how value of absentee voting from those who live in different countries. They discuss how our election has become a hot topic in other countries. Countries such as Mexico and Israel have even taken sides to who they would vote on. This has become such an important issue due to there being about six million Americans in other countries and with the prediction of close voting in certain states every vote they can get matters. In class, we have been discussing voting and the different ways you can vote. We also know that some states votes matter more then others and with many Americans in different countries, it is important to get everyone to vote. In my opinion, its important for everyone to vote so they feel as though they had a voice. With the two candidates we have, many people have a strong on one or the other or both, so by them voting, even for a minor party, they will still be able to help control what happens in America. Their goal in Britain is to raise the 5% voting rate and I personally believe they can do that.

In response to Paige, I agree that if someone is able to vote, they should vote. Every vote helps. Moving on to the absentee voting in different countries, I am surprised that it is a hot topic for some countries. In my opinion with all of the Americans living in different countries, they should still be following the politics that are going on here and should vote.

Responding to Paige's article, I think it would be beneficial to have Americans in other countries vote. If someone is an American citizen, they should be able to choose who they want the next president to be whether they live in America or not. Looking at the Al Gore v. Bush campaign, overseas voters made a big difference in the election. Without them, Al Gore would have been our next president.

Responding to Paige's article, I never realized that people from other countries could vote. This is good because people out of country on work visas or something similar will still have a say in their home country. As mentioned in the article, the only reason bush won was because of foreign voters. If it was easier to vote from out of country it would create a higher turnout rate in the election, which is a positive effect in my mind.

In response to Paige's article about Americans out of the country voting, it really opened up my eyes because it had never really crossed my mind that people outside of the United States could vote for the next President. I think it is definitely a great idea because I think voters outside of America have a different perspective on different topics, like foreign affairs than we have in America. In this election there are a lot of people on both sides and its a very close race, any input from more Americans with different perspectives on different views on politics would be very beneficial in America.

www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/28/fbi-reopens-investigation-into-clinton-email-use.htmlThis article goes over the recent discovery of new Clinton emails and how the FBI director James Comey decided to reopen the investigation on Clinton. The new emails were discovered after "the FBI seized devices belonging to disgraced ex-Rep. Weiner and his wife Huma Abedin, a top Clinton aide who recently announced she was separating from the former congressman." Clinton was quoted saying that Comey has said he does not know if the emails are significant or not yet, and she is attempting to rush the FBI to a conclusion which she believes will not change from the conclusion they reached in July. Although Hillary is very confident, she has chosen not to respond to reporters or supporters about the issue during her time in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Not much info has been released to the public other than the letter from Comey about the investigation, Comey has also said he does not konw when they will reach a conclusion. In relation to what we have been discussing in class, this has the potential to change the outcome of the election. Depending on the results of this investigation, the people could be swayed to vote for a different party, not allowing Hillary to get 270 electoral votes, which is how many is required to reach a majority. In my opinion, the FBI will likely not release the results of this case until after election day, because of the backlash that will happen towards the FBI from the democratic party. People will believe that the only reason this case was reopened was to indirectly tamper with the election. However if Hillary wins the election and negative info is released against her after this, the FBI will receive lots of backlash because the people weren't fully informed. This really seems like a lose-lose situation for the FBI.

Response to Chase's article I agree with Chase's opinion on the FBI not releasing the findings and maybe reopening the investigation is a lose-lose situation. The FBI could really have a huge impact on the last few days of the election if they find information to expose Hillary Clinton. Useful info could give sway undecided people to vote against Hillary giving Donald Trump the boost he needs to win the election. However if Hillary Clinton wins the presidential race and has information that can be used against her, she could be exposed in office.

www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/26/numbers-game-trump-battles-media-and-polling-establishment-in-insisting-can-still-win.html# Numbers Game: Trump battles media and polling establishment in insisting he can still win. In this article, Trump speaks out about how he has a chance of still winning. He is not believing all of the polls because he thinks he still has a chance. Trump is trying to show the Republicans that he could still win. Many of the Republican voters might not vote if they think Hillary is already going to win. Some main headlines of papers/magazines state "Victory in Sight". These are referring to Hillary's future outcome. Trump is calling the polls "phony" because he doesn't want others to hear about how Hillary and the Democrats have a better chance. Many states seem to be slipping away from Trump too. Texas and Florida are still in question. Trump is very upset with the overall media polling. This article talks about the Election, which we have been going over in class. It talks about where each state usually stands and where they stand now. It also mentions the Electoral College. It talks about how Hillary has more than enough electoral votes, unlike Trump. It mentions the polls that are going around and how they very confidently state that Hillary will most likely be the next President of the United States. Personally, I will be very glad if Hillary wins. I think she has a better mindset of presidency than Trump does. Trump may be trying to give his voters some hope, but I think he just wants everyone (all of the republicans) to vote on Election day. Trump throughout this whole season has just said some stuff that was very controversial and I think many people don't like him because of it. Hillary would be a better choice for Trump and I'm glad that is what the media polling is saying. Trump used to be all about the polls when they showed that he was winning, but now that they say that he is losing he doesn't like them. It just shows how Trump only believes stuff when it is positive about himself.

This artical also taking a lot about how others felt mostly republicas. I think that is shows a very bais said because tthey would like to see her down fall. this artical also talked about how Hilary didnt have much to say on the matter. I think this will cuaase her problems in the electrons and that trump will use this to his adanvate

In response to Chase's article
This article is centered around the Hillary Clinton e-mail controversy. It appears that more e-mails from Hillary were discovered, but, at the current time, aren't 100% connected to the e-mail scandal that occurred not to long ago. I agree with Ben that this could be a lose-lose situation. If they let this go, we could potentially have a president that lacks trust from lots of citizens. However, if they keep digging in further into the investigation, undecided voters will vote for Trump, but only because the don't want to vote for Hillary. Both candidates have been in their fair share of controversy and it's going to be very interesting who America decides should be leading our country.
There were a few things that I found very interesting in this article. One of the bigger ones is that Hillary decided to not talk to reporters. I know this still a relatively new case, but if the e-mails meant nothing, why not say so? She seems to be straying away from them, which makes me curious if there's something important in those e-mails. Another thing I found interesting is that James Comey doesn't think charges should be pressed on Hillary, however, former FBI agents feel as if there should. There are two very conflicting opinions from people who are/have been in the same position.

In response to Chase's article I agree with his opinion about how the F.B.I could get a lot of back lash from this case no mater what they do. This is because most of the democratic party is unhappy about how little information was given to them and how suddenly and closely it was reviled before the election. In my own opinion I believe that the F.B.I is doing the right thing informing the people about something that a future president has done.

In response to Chase's article...
This article is about Hillary's e-mails, and it appears to explain that a FBI agent has reopened this case due to finding more emails from Hillary from Wiener's case. Although, they are not for sure that the email's are significant to the same ones found a short time ago. This article makes me think that it isn't just a coincidence that this case was re-opened with days remaining before the election. It seems to me as a way to make Trump appear to be the more "trustworthy candidate." It honestly could very well be a potential due to the fact that the media has been all over Trump for cutting down and disrespecting women. This could be a way to get Trump's weaknesses off the media and shine the light on Hillary's weaknesses. However, I don't blame anyone for exposing this case further because I believe if Hillary takes office as our next president, she needs to gain trust with the American people. That trust may mean exposing all your weaknesses and mistakes.

In response to Chase's article:
Since the FBI had found new evidence it is there responsibility to continue there investigation that had been in place for awhile. It was closed only due to no more evidence. There really is no affecting the election because if there is information found she does not deserve to have that position

In response to Jordy's article Donald Trump has really pushed his ideology that everything is rigged not in his favor this entire election, and this probably will not be the last time, especially if he loses the election. Pretty much every major news source is predicting a Trump loss, even conservative sources like Fox News, so basically I think that Trump needs to grow up a bit and accept the results. He is threatening to tear the country apart by not accepting the election results and send his hardcore supporters into a frenzy.
